Inel in physics

We manufacture a wide range of powder X-ray diffraction systems for both research and routine applications. All Inel Xray diffractometers measure in “real time” and are able to measure 120 degrees of 2 theta simultaneously. Inel diffraction systems employ a unique curved Xray detector that replaces the older mechanically scanning goniometers used by other manufacturers. This means that Inel XRD systems are perfect for kinetic or dynamic measurements in that all data is recorded in “real time “
Inel – Equinox Xray diffractometers are available for powder samples as well as single crystallites, liquids and gels. Systems are also available for SWAXS applications with a full range of wide and small angle diffraction systems employing both curved and linear detectors
We undertake to manufacture custom designs

Xray diffraction systems are available for residual stress analysis, topography, epitaxial analysis, texture and multipole applications. We also manufacture portable Xray diffraction instrument as well as a full range of bench top and console style designs. The Equinox XRD program includes diffraction systems designed to analyse micro samples as small as 15 microns in both small and bulk samples. Unique features include the ability to record data in real time and at very high resolution with detector options capable of resolving 0.04 degrees FWHM.

The Inel manufacture program includes neutron detectors and measure electronics, high intensity short wavelength VUV ultra violet light sources as well as a wide range of curved and linear Xray detectors

Research
On going research includes Xray analysers for identifying micron and nano particulates in the atmosphere, automated robotic Xray residual stress systems plus combined and integrated XRD with FTIR and Raman

On Line XRD
Our unique detectors are used as standard in on line Xray diffraction systems . These unique systems are used for mineral analysis, cement analysis as well as pharmaceuticals or polymorphs.
